Thermograph 1.3.4 by Jeremy Kezer   Thermograph is a utility that monitors the core processor temperature. The G3 & G4 processors have a temperature sensor built into them. Thermograph reads this sensor and displays the internal temperature on late-model G3 or G4-based Macintoshes. Features include: • Records minimum and maximum temperatures. • Shows temperature records over time, using a zoomable display so you can analyze short-term or long-term trends. • Supports multiprocessor models. Requirements Thermograph is only with the latest Macintosh models, such as: • iMac DV • iBook • FireWire PowerBook • AGP G4 • Gigabit G4 (including the dual-processor systems) • G4 Cube When originally tested, it did not work on earlier models, but Mac OS 9.1 seems to have improved compatibility on models such as the B&W G3 and original iMac's. Note: Many users have reported that the temperature readings do not work on the PowerBook G4/400. They work fine on the PowerBook G4/500, and on desktop G4/400 systems. Note: At this time, Thermograph does not work as a Classic application under OS X. Note: Motorola documents the relative accuracy of the temperature measurements to be ±12°C (21.8°F). Your measurements may vary. Thermograph is shareware! Thermograph is a shareware product. The distributed version is fully-featured, but after a period of time will remind you to register it. If you find it useful, please consider paying the shareware registration fee. Not only will you help to support my efforts, but by becoming a registered user, I will provide you with a secret password that will eliminate the periodic registration warnings that will appear. Please see the "How To Register" chapter in this manual for more information. Setting up Thermograph Chapter 2 of this manual has complete setup instructions.
